Dancing in Dixie
Every Friday Night!
Starting April 1, 2022
Starting April 1st, Dixie Café will offer live music and great food every Friday night! Guests will enjoy an amazing buffet and a la carte menu from 5 pm- 8 pm; with live music from local Baton Rouge area bands from 7 pm – 9 pm. The café overlooks lighted gardens and the Amphitheater, giving you the perfect setting for a fun date night, or night out with friends.
Author Olaf Schmidt writes about the life of Louise Marmillion, the Bavarian Mistress, of San Francisco Plantation. Although this plantation is now closed to the public, its story will live on in this factual novel about life along the Mississippi River and life on this plantation.

You don’t want to miss out on this upcoming Dinner and Wine Under the Oaks Event! The featured Wineries are Chateau Buena Vista and Raymond Vineyards, of the Boisset Collection.
Tickets include a 5-course dinner with each course perfectly paired with a wine from one of these featured Vineyards. Weather permitting, this event will take place on the front lawn of the Houmas House Estate. Should the weather be too hot or wet, the event will be moved indoors.
The ticket you purchase is $150.00 and the fair market value of the goods received is $37.50, making your tax deductible portion $112.50. Your donation is tax deductible as allowed by law.
