You can learn right here at Houmas House! Starting on Wednesday, January 8th we will be hosting dance classes teaching the classic East Coast Swing (Jitterbug) and other dance moves taught by Beverly Cook! We had so much fun last time we are bringing it back! These classes will take place from 6:15 pm – 7:30 pm every Wednesday and will cost $65 + tax and booking fee for all five classes. Class Dates: |

Houmas House invites all Ladies of Royal Standing to wear their crowns and celebrate Queen’s Day with a Royal Procession through our formal gardens, followed by a Luncheon fit for a Queen! Our celebration begins in Dixie Café, where specially designed beverages can be purchased for the Royal Procession. Saturday, February 22, 2025 Arrive early so you can purchase beverages prior to the Procession. The Luncheon will be served in the Queen’s Room of the Carriage House Restaurant. $50 includes tax, gratuity and non-alcoholic beverages |
