Designated parking spaces are provided close to the gift shop for guests with limited mobility.
Wheelchair Use & Golf Cart Availability
Throughout the 38 acres of gardens are smooth walking paths to accommodate wheelchairs and motorized scooters. All restaurants and cottages at The Inn are located at ground level and have ramps where needed.The guided mansion tour is wheelchair accessible and offers an elevator for guests needing assistance to get to the second floor. Motorized scooters are discouraged in the mansion due to their size.The elevator is too small to accommodate large scooters.
If a golf cart is needed to transport guests from the entrance to the mansion or the restaurants, please notify a gift shop employee upon arrival.
Service Animals
Houmas House Plantation is dog-friendly and certified service animals are welcome.
