The mansion tour explores 250 years of this estates history and walks guests through the architectural evolution of the mansion while exploring plantation life in the 1800’s.  Antique artifacts, artwork and furnishings are used to tell the stories of past owners and how they lived and grew a sugar empire.

Lunch or dinner is available in The Carriage House Restaurant just steps from the mansion.  Guests will enjoy classic Louisiana cuisine featuring fresh seafood, decadent desserts and everything in between.

And finally, save time to explore the folklore, commerce, culture and  music of the Mississippi River in the recently opened Great River Road Museum.  Exhibits on Mardi Gras, agriculture, the civil war, and much more all show how the Mississippi River helped shape the lower United States to what it is today.
