You will ride in a 32 passenger luxury bus where you will view a short film showing the history of the property. If you like, you may view it HERE as well. Your ticket includes a guided tour of the house. Our specially trained tour guides enjoy their subject and their guests. They are more than happy to answer questions or engage requests for more information. The plantation is staffed with plenty of guides to keep groups small and the presentation tailored to what is most interesting to guests.

After your guided tour you will be free to enjoy the Crown Jewel of Louisiana's River Road at your own pace and experience our hospitality as a welcomed guest. Relax with a refreshing mint julep, freshly prepared in The Turtle Bar located in one of our twin Garconierre's, very rare among plantation homes. Enjoy the breeze off the Mississippi as you stroll through the shadows of ancient oaks.
