Visitors to Houmas House Plantation and Gardens can build
their trip into an adventure that includes nearby shopping,
dinning, attractions and other plantations.
Many other historic plantation sites are located within minutes

grand old homes are, however, friendly to photographers and
the facts on their historic plaques help immerse visitors
